Andrea Navedo was born in America and she has written several books. The actress began her career by performing in morning soaps like One Life to Live or Guiding Light, and later played roles as a support actress on television's primetime. Andrea Navedo (born 10 October 1978 in the Bronx area of NY) is an American actress and singer. Navedo started her acting career in an afternoon soap. In 1995 through 1997, Navedo starred on ABC's One Life to Live in the role of Linda Soto. In 1999, she was cast in Guiding Light, a CBS drama Guiding Light. In 1996 she made her first appearance on film, playing a small part in Girl 6. She then appeared on New York Undercover episodes and The District. Navedo played in Double Take, an action-comedy film released in 2001. The drama Washington Heights was released the next year. From 2001 until 2004 Navedo had a recurring role on the NBC crime series Law & Order as Detective Ana Cordova. later he starred in Law & Order: Criminal Intent Damages and Blue Bloods. Navedo has also been in numerous films, including El Cantante and Remember Me. Navedo had recurring roles on Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, How to Make It in America Golden Boy as well as How to Make It in America Golden Boy between 2011 between 2011 and the year 2013. Navedo was a part of the Comedy film Superfast! The Fast and the Furious Parody which was released in 2015. is a parody of the popular Fast and Furious Film series. Navedo first began her career as a professional actor in daytime dramas. In 1995-1997, she played Linda Soto on ABC's soap show One Life to Live. The actress joined CBS' Guiding Light in 1999 as Theresa Sandoval. In 1996 she made her first appearance in the film world with a part on the film Girl 6. She later was a guest actor in New York Undercover (1996) as well as The District. Navedo appeared on the screen in Double Take (2001), an action-packed comedy.
